Trump Found Rose's Tapedeck in the Oval Office

Trump has found Evalen Wood's (Pres Nixon's secretary) tapedeck in the Oval Office in memory of good old Tricky Dick and he's quoted here saying "Nixon used this for his now famous missing eighteen minutes; now I can use it!" A joke it is said needs no explanation or it just isn't worth sharing it with you.

Drawing of South St w Balloons

A practice make perfect routine can be an object of interest for me. Here I reverted to my understanding of the compositional qualities of the 'South Street' canvas I just finished working on. Here the building composition is identical but then I added some interesting objects to the sky. Here they sometimes fly some man'd balloons and simply added them into the sky for a visual interest point in the upper part of the drawing. I think it works.

Remains of an Early Virginian Church

 The old world of European faith was rife with change when new varieties of religion left the old continent for the America's open horizons.   These remains of an older mud stone Church is still here in Central Virginia near where the Lock'n Music festival takes place, only but a mile or so to the east it still stands in its muddy sandstone way.   I didn't find out much more than it was a Church at one time where people placed their wants and needs on the Altar to the keep of a Higher Power.   I don't know what faith these remains belonged to but knowing the society around here it no doubt was a early Virginian Christian Church.

WCNA 35 in Philadelphia

I was gifted with a ticket on the train and also a way into the 35th World Convention of NA held in downtown Philadelphia this past weekend. What a blowout it was, some of the very best of speakers also with some of the best commonsense shared on the world wide stage. There were people from all over the world on stage sharing with we who we Blessed enough to be in a the audience. People from Russia: a hundred visiting young men and women anxious to bring back literature so they could free there friends from addiction and start NA in mother Russia. People from Africa sharing on Skype to 18,000 addicts in the audience. Wow! I'm glad I can say I too am in Recovery today, Just for Today!

Figures 'n Buildings

Early in my creative process is the necessity for drawing out the images. To do that well I need to keep up with my drawing practice with some sketches. I do that in ink. I am skilled enough to use ink being an older gentleman as I am. I do this mostly when I am inbetween oils. This particular drawing is such a one, it is a simple meandering of my concepts of both figures and buildings from my mind. I began with images of buildings then inserted a few figures before finishing it up with more structures surrounding the figures. It relaxes me to do one.

Fun Drawing , Believe Me, Just for Fun

Fool'n around I worked up this mess of people doing wrong to others, what I am thinking I don't know but it was fun. I create some nonsense sometimes at the cost of my reputation as a friendly guy I think. This one has a happy smil'n man putting on a woman's hair, now I don't think for a moment that one aught to take part in such and action but still one has to have fun with some wild ideas this being one of those. I tease with the hope that no one would actually perform this action on anyone else, it would be flat out wrong. But in drawing, it is possible to put down some images that in the real world would bring down ire from above, but this is art not reality. And its not to be taken as something one would advocate as something to do to another human being, certainly not!! I simply draw, and this seem to fit my feelings for the moment while at the drawing board. I really don't see the harm. Its all in fun. So please take it as such.
